Task 4 Q & A:
1) What was the most challenging stage in building your EZ Robot? Why?
The most challenging part of building our EZ Robot (Roli) was putting in the servos. Leo and I labeled the servos on the part that snaps onto the body and other servos which made putting it together hard and when we made a mistake on placing the servos, taking it off, it felt like we were about to break one of them. What I think happened is that the ink caused the joint to have more friction between them and causing the servos to be hard to put in and take off when you placed them the wrong way.
2) What has your initial experience been like in learning how to program EZ Robot?
So far, programming Roli was harder than I thought. For the past few classes, Leo and I have been searching up how to program Roli and so far, we still haven't been able to program Roli to move using our own programs but, we have succeeded in making him track faces and colors while he follows it. Sometimes, when we get a bit bored trying to figure out how to program him, we control him through the EZ Robot app (for Android) on Leo's phone. About a few classes ago, Alyra and Jasmine's Roli short circuited and now, they have to work with us. What a weird way to reunite JALJ. So far, things have been going fine.
3) Now that you have had some experience with the EZ Robot, What is your goal for he rest of the module? What would you like your robot to accomplish?
Our goal for the rest of the module is to be able to program him with cool things like dancing and speaking.
